President condoles death of Qamrul Islam Siddiqui

President Iajuddin Ahmed expressed his deep shock at the death of former secretary and ex LGRD chief engineer Qamrul Islam Siddiqui, reports UNB.brMentioning Qamrul Islam's rich working life, the President, in a condolence message Tuesday, said people would ever remember his outstanding contribution to the development of rural infrastructure of Bangladesh.brHe said the country has lost a creative official and an experienced engineer at the death of Qamrul Islam.brThe President prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the members of the bereaved family.brSiddiqui, also a freedom fighter and founding chief engineer of LGED, died of cardiac arrest in New Jersey, USA, Monday.
