President for disposing of pending cases for ensuring justice

President Iajuddin Ahmed Monday emphasised the need for disposing of the huge pending cases with different levels of courts in the country for ensuring justice, reports UNB.
The President said this when newly appointed Chief Justice MM Ruhul Amin paid a courtsey call on him at Bangabhaban.
During the meeting, the Chief Justice sought the President's cooperation in discharging his duties and obligations properly.
The Chief Justice expressed the hope that he would be able to satisfy the aspirations of the people by upholding justice and strengthening people's confidence in the judiciary with cooperation from all concerned.
