President going to Singapore

President Md Abdul Hamid will leave for Singapore on Saturday for a regular health check-up. His Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim said the President will fly out of Dhaka on a regular Singapore Airlines flight on Saturday night. It will be his fourth trip to the island-nation after assuming the highest office last year. He will undergo medical check-up at the National Eye Hospital and the Mount Elizabeth Hospital. The last time he went to Singapore for medical purposes was in December last year. President Hamid used to get his glaucoma treated during his stint as the Speaker. “The President is expected to return home on May 3,” Karim said, according to bdnews24.com.
