President greets countrymen on Ramadan

President Iajuddin Ahmed Monday greeted the countrymen on the occasion of holy Ramadan with a wish for reflecting blessings and teachings of this holy month in their personal and social life, reports BSS. brThe President, in his message, said that holy Ramadan was the month of self-restraint and self-purification. brDuring the month, the Muslim community gets a chance to come closer to Almighty Allah, he said. brAmity, fraternity and brotherhood among the people irrespective of the rich and the poor are strengthened through practising Siyam, he added. brSeeking peace and harmony for countrymen and Muslim Ummah to the Almighty Allah, the President prayed for the Almighty's blessings to reflect teachings of the holy Ramadan in social and personal life of every people.
