President meets Singaporean counterpart

President Iajuddin Ahmed, now in Singapore for medical checkup, made a courtesy call on his Singaporean counterpart, President Sellpan Ramanathan, at the latter's office in Singapore Tuesday, reports UNB.
The Singaporean President cordially welcomed President Iajuddin Ahmed and exchanged pleasantries with him.
During the meeting, they discussed matters relating to mutual interest of the two countries.
The discussion was held in a very cordial atmosphere, said a press release received in the city Tuesday.
Military Secretary to the President M Aminul Karim, Secretary to the President's office M Sirajul Islam and Bangladesh High Commissioner to Singapore Munshi Faiz Ahmad were, among others, present on the occasion.
