President mourns MP Shahjahan’s death

President Abdul Hamid on Monday expressed his deep shock at the death of Awami League MP Shawkat Momen Shahjahan.
In a condolence message, the President said with his death, the nation has lost a dedicated politician and an efficient parliament member, according to a news agency.
He conveyed his sympathy to the bereaved family members and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
Awami League MP from Tangail-8 constituency Shawkat Momen Shahjahan died at Sakhipur Upazila Health Complex early Monday. He was 64.
