President, PM condole death

President Zillur Rahman has expressed profound shock at the death of the Principal of Ramkrishna Mission. In a condolence message, the President said Swami Akshyrananda had made immense contribution to practicing indigenous religion as well as upholding the communal harmony in the country throughout his life. Zillur Rahman prayed for salvation of the departed soul of Swami Akshyrananda. Meanwhile, Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina Monday expressed deep shock at the death of Swami Akshyrananda. In a condolence message, the PM said Swami Akshyrananda worked for the welfare of the humanity in his whole life. "The people of the country would remember with deep gratitude his contribution for ever," she said. Sheikh Hasina prayed for salvation of the departed soul of Swami Akshyrananda.
