President, PM congratulate their counterparts of Zimbabwe, Syria

President Zillur Rahman and Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina have congratulated their Zimbabwean counterparts on the occasion of Independence Day of that country to be observed Saturday, reports UNB.
In a message to President of Zimbabwe Robert Gabriel Mugabe, Zillur Rahman expressed his confidence that Bangladesh and Zimbabwe would engage more in all possible areas of cooperation for the mutual benefit of the two peoples in the days ahead.
In a separate message to Zimbabwean Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai, Sheikh Hasina said, "the excellent bilateral relations that so happily exist between our two countries will continue to grow and flourish in depth and dimension to the mutual benefit of our two peoples in the years to come".
Meanwhile, the President and PM have also congratulated their Syrian counterparts on the occasion of the National Day of the country today (Friday).
