President, PM greet girls

President M Abdul Hamid on Sunday greeted the members of Bangladesh Under-15 Women's Football team for achieving victory against India in inaugural edition of the SAFF U-15 Women's Championship at Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city's Kamalapur, report agencies.
In a message, Abdul Hamid congratulated players, coaches and technical and administrative staff of the team for winning the final match.
The President expressed the hope that the women footballers would continue their success in the days ahead.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina congratulated the Bangladesh girls on winning the title of the inaugural edition of the SAFF Under-15 Women's Championship.
In a congratulatory message, the prime minister greeted all the players, coach and officials of the girls' football team for becoming unbeaten champion in the SAFF Under-15 Women's Championship.
"The whole nation is proud of seeing the team spirit of our players and their outstanding performance," she said.
Sheikh Hasina expressed the hope that the winning spree of the girls' soccer team would continue in the future.
