President. PM greet nation on Eid-ul-Azha

President Md Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina greeted the countrymen on Wednesday on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Azha to be celebrated tomorrow (Friday), reports BSS.
In a message, the President urged all to expedite the national development being imbued with the spirit of sacrifice of Eid-ul-Azha and the country's tradition of secularism in their personal and social life.
The PM, in a message, called upon the countrymen to build a happy and prosperous Bangladesh free from discrimination by participating in people-welfare based activities as well as realising the spirit of Eid-ul-Azha, radiant with the glow of sacrifice.
She said the unique instance set by Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) by sacrificing his dearest thing for the satisfaction of Allah will be imitated and followed forever. "Through the festival, the capable Muslims ensure equality for all and practice compassion by distributing meat of their sacrificial animals among relatives,” she added.
