President, PM, Rawshan shocked at Lee’s death

President Md Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina expressed deep shock on Monday at the demise of founding Father and Architect of Modern Singapore Lee Kuan Yew, reports UNB.
In separate condolence messages, they said the Almighty will grant his family members and the people of Singapore enough strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
"I'm deeply saddened at the passing away of the Founding Father and Architect of Modern Singapore Lee Kuan Yew", the president said
In her message to Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Sheikh Hasina said she is deeply shocked at the passing away of the Founding Father and Architect of Modern Singapore. "On behalf of my fellow countrymen and on my own behalf, may I extend to you and to the people of Singapore our deepest condolences."
The PM also said the example of his leadership and accomplishments will remain as a lasting legacy not only for the citizens of Singapore but also for the whole world.
"I also take this opportunity to express my deepest sympathy for the members of the bereaved family. May the Almighty grant his family members and the people of Singapore enough strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss," she said.
BSS adds: Leader of the opposition in Parliament Rawshan Ershad expressed deep shock on Monday at the death of the founding Prime Minister of Singapore Lee Kuan Yew.
She extended profound sympathy to the bereaved family members and people of Singapore, and prayed for granting enough strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
