President, PM shocked at Nasim Osman\\\'s death

President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, in separate messages on Wednesday, expressed deep shock at the death of lawmaker Nasim Osman. President Abdul Hamid, in his condolence message, expressed profound shock at the premature demise of Nasim Osman. The President prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and also conveyed his sympathy to members of the bereaved family. In a similar message, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed her deep shock at the death of Nasim Osman, the Jatiya Party MP from Narayanganj-5 constituency. The premier said the people of Narayanganj will always remember the contributions of Nasim Osman as a son of a traditional political family and a devoted leader of the mass people. She also said that the countrymen would remember with gratitude the courageous and protesting role of Nasim Osman after the killing of Bangabandhu along with his family members on August 15, 1975. She prayed for the departed soul and conveyed her sincere sympathy to the bereaved family, according to a news agency.
