President takes Iftar with orphans, FFs

President Abdul Hamid on Thursday took Iftar with orphans, family members of Birsresthas, war-wounded freedom fighters (FFs), alem-ulema (religious scholars) and officials and employees of the Bangabhaban. The President went round different tables set at the Darber Hall for the guests, exchanged pleasantries with them and enquired about their wellbeing. Prior to the Iftar, a special munajat was offered seeking divine blessings for continued peace, progress and prosperity of the nation. Khatib of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque Maulana Prof Md Salahuddin conducted the munajat, according to a news agency.
