President to exchange greetings with Hindu leaders today

President Mohammed Shahabuddin will exchange greetings with the Hindu community leaders at Bangabhaban in the capital on the occasion of Durga Puja, the largest religious festival of the Hindu Community in Bangladesh, reports BSS.
The President and his wife Dr Rebeka Sultana will exchange the greetings at Bangabhaban Durbar Hall from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon today (Sunday), Bangabhaban sources said.
The President will be accompanied by Religious Affairs Adviser AFM Khalid Hossain, Primary and Mass Education Adviser Prof Dr Bidhan Ranjan Roy Poddar and Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission Principal Srimat Swami Purnatmananda Maharaj.
As many as 1000 individuals including diplomats, senior journalists of the Hindu community and secretaries concerned have been invited on the occasion.
The invited guests will be entertained with the traditional foods, sources said.
