President to leave hospital today

SINGAPORE, Oct 24 (BSS): President Mohammed Shahabuddin, now undergoing treatment at Singapore National University Hospital, will leave the hospital for the hotel of residence today (Wednesday) as his health condition has improved considerably.
"President's health condition has improved significantly . . . He is expected to leave hospital for the palace of residence (hotel) tomorrow," President's Press Secretary Md Joynal Abedin quoted the physicians as saying.
The Head of State is walking inside the cabin on a limited scale . . .
Besides, the doctors advised him to do light exercises," Bangabhaban's spokesman added.
