President to open ICC-B confce Oct 25

President Md. Abdul Hamid will inaugurate a high-profile conference titled 'International Conference on Global Economic Recovery: Asian Perspective' on October 25.
The two-day conference will be held in celebration of 20 years of International Chamber of Commerce-Bangladesh (ICC-B).
ICC-B got the consent from the President Thursday, according to a statement.
"We also got confirmation of their presence in the conference from Finance Minister, Abul Maal Abdul Muhith and ICC Vice Chairman Sunil Bharti Mittal," the statement added.
Mr. Sunil Bharti Mittal is the Founder and Chairman of Bharti Enterprises. Its flagship company, Bharti Airtel also serves on the Prime Minister of India's Council on Trade & Industry and World Economic Forum's International Business Council.
The Conference will focus on four sessions like Global Economic Recovery Contemporary Reality; Asian Growth: Realities & Challenges; Trade: Does the Bali Outcome Hold Promise for the Future?; and Promoting Investment in Asia.
The co-organisers include, FBCCI, DCCI, MCCI, CCCI, FICCI, BGMEA, BKMEA, BIA, and NCCI. Premium Partners are Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd (IBBL) and Standard Chartered.
