President to visit Vietnam on Aug 9

President Md Abdul Hamid is expected to pay a state visit to Vietnam from August 9 to 12, during which the entire range of bilateral issues would come up for discussion, said the Foreign Ministry here on Sunday, reports UNB.
Among the bilateral issues, connectivity, trade and investment, cooperation in the fields of tourism and culture, exchange of visits, etc. will be given special emphasis, it said.
The visit is expected to further deepen the cordial and cooperative relations between the two countries and strengthen the ties of friendship and trust between Bangladesh and the Southeast Asian country.
During the visit, which is set to take place at the invitation of his counterpart, the President is expected to hold discussions and exchange views on regional and international issues of common concern.
