Tuesday, 14 May 2024

GAIBANDHA, May 13 (BSS): Speakers in a function here underscored the need for checking child marriage, polygamy, preventing drug trading, and human trafficking to bring sustainable improvements to people's lives.
People should come with a positive attitude to check child marriage, polygamy, and human trafficking, apart from refraining the youths from drug consumption and trading, they observed.
They made the comments while addressing an annual general meeting of Balashi Jubo and Nari Kalyan Federation, formed by the Sustained Opportunities for Nutrition Governance (SONGO) project, being implemented by RDRS Bangladesh and Cord Aid International with the financial support of the European Union.
