Prices of essentials go up slightly in Natore

NATORE, Feb 4 : The prices of essential commodities such as rice, atta, edible oil and vegetables have gone up slightly in local kitchen markets.
According to retailers at different local markets, rice was selling at between Tk 27 and Tk 38 per kg. Fine variety was selling at Tk 38 while coarse variety at Tk 27 per kg at the retail level.
Lentil was selling at Tk 92-112 per kg, soya bean oil at Tk 78 per litre, while coarse flour (atta) at Tk 21 per kg.
Eggs were selling at Tk 96 per dozen, beef at Tk 200-215, poultry birds at Tk 110-120 and small fish at Tk 100-150 per kg.
Vegetables like brinjal was selling at between Tk 9 and Tk 12, potato at Tk 14, onion at Tk 30-32, and garlic at Tk 80-85 per kg in local markets.
