Prices were slightly easier

FE Report
There was a larger volume on offer in the week but well absorbed by the market. However, prices were slightly easier compared to previous week particularly for the best. Blenders were active along with more interest from the Loose tea buyers. Pakistan buyers were less active. CIS buyers did not operate. Good liquoring Dusts continued to be a good market often at dearer levels.
CTC LEAF: 25,904 packages and (645 packages of Old Season) met with a fairly strong demand but sometimes slightly easier.
BROKENS: Well made good liquoring Brokens were well supported but were slightly easier often by Tk 1.00 to Tk 3.00 and these sold between Tk 84.50 and Tk 88.50 whilst other varieties were slightly easier often by Tk 2.00. A few improved Medium and Plainer Invoices were slightly dearer.
FANNINGS: Well made good liquoring Fannings were a good market but generally eased by up to Tk 2.00 and these could be quoted between Tk 83.50 and Tk 88.00 Others were easier by Tk 1.00 to Tk 2.00.
CTC DUST: 3,757 packages and (150 packages of Old Season) on offer met with strong demand. Good liquoring varieties continued to be of well support and were often dearer. All others met with a good market generally at firm to slightly easier rates. Blenders once again lent strong support with improved demand from the Loose tea buyers.
