Primary terminal exams begin

The Primary Terminal Examinations- 2011 for the students of general and madrasah education, began across the country on Wednesday with some 26.42 lakh students participating in the examinations, reports UNB. The candidates appeared in mathematics exams at 6,176 centres on the day. The examination will end on November 30. This is the biggest public examination in the country. Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid visited the Suritola Model Government Primary School exam centre in the city. The minister sought cooperation from all for making the government's efforts to improve the standard of country's education successful.
