Prime Bank Foundation conducts eye camp

The Prime Bank Foundation (PBF) through its Drishty Daan Project conducted a three-day eye camp at Taraganj Health Complex under Rangpur district between October 10 and October 12.
The Prime Bank Limited arranged the camp through PBF as a part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR).
GOC of 66 Infantry Division Major General Syed Fatemi Ahmed Rumi inaugurated the camp, said a press release.
About 1,150 men and women living in and around Taraganj and suffering from different eye related complications were present there for restoration of their sights.
After necessary examination, the experts identified 201 cataract patients eligible for surgery and finally 164 were operated upon through implanting an Intra-Ocular lens with required medicine including black spectacles.
A total of 207 patients were identified with Refractive Error and they were given free of cost spectacles. Rest of the patients were given necessary treatment along with prescription.
Among others, former director of the Prime Bank Limited Shahdat Hossain and Director Saheda Pervin Trisha were present at the inaugural function.
Deputy commissioner and civil surgeon of Rangpur were also present at the function, the release added.
