Prime Bank Foundation launches Education Support Programme

Prime Bank Foundation is going to implement a project named Education Support Programme soon, under which the students will be provided with monthly stipends for persuasion of their graduation and post-graduation level studies in the country's public sector universities and medical, engineering and agriculture colleges.
Applications from the potential poor but meritorious students have already been invited through newspaper advertisements for awarding stipends, said a press release.
The deserving students have to obtain GPA 3.5 or above, both in SSC and HSC, to achieve the stipends. Their guardians' monthly income have to be less than Tk 4,000, irrespective of occupations, or guardians have to be landless farmers, or having less than an acre of land, or the guardians can not earn because of physical or intellectual disability, or the student has to be an orphan without any other income source, and is dependent on other's income.
Along with the application, the followings are required - certificate from the head of the educational institute or department, guardian's income certificate from the union or municipality chairman, two copies of recent passport size photographs, and attested copies of the SSC and HSC certificates.
Those who meet the eligibility criteria can apply to the CEO, Prime Bank Foundation, 29 Rajuk Avenue (3rd floor), Motijheel C/A, Dhaka-1000 on or before July 30, the release added.
