Prime Bank holds w'shop on Basel-II

Prime Bank Ltd (PBL), a leading private commercial bank of the country, organised a day-long workshop on 'Capital Accord Basel-II' at its head office in the city recently, said a press release..
PBL's Managing Director M Shahjahan Bhuiyan inaugurated the workshop as the chief guest. Nasiruddin Ahmed and Mahbubul Alam, deputy managing directors, MA Abdullah, senior executive vice-president, and other officials of the bank were present at the workshop.
Nabo Gopal Banik, general manager (GM), BRPD, Bangladesh Bank, KM Abdul Wadood, deputy general manager (DGM) of Basel-II Cell, Bangladesh Bank, also spoke as guest speakers at the workshop.
PBL arranged the workshop for its officials as one of its preparatory programmes on Basel-II before 2009.
Executive Vice-president and Principal of Prime Bank Training Institute Manash K Ghosh and Vice-president Md Fakhrul Islam coordinated the workshop.
