Prime Bank, Notre Dame College open debate competition

Prime Bank 22nd NDDC National Debate Competition 2010 was inaugurated at the Notre Dame College Auditorium in the city Wednesday, said a press release.
Former chief justice and former chief adviser of the caretaker government Justice Muhammad Habibur Rahman was present as the chief guest while Deputy Managing Director of Prime Bank Limited M Reazul Karim was present as the special guest on the occasion.
Father Benjamin Costa presided over the ceremony while Father Adam S Pereira played the role of moderator of the inaugural session.
The deputy managing director said, "Today's young generation is the citizen of tomorrow. They will become the deciding force of the country. The country will only prosper if these youngsters of today can accrue their knowledge base and sharpen their intellectual faculty. Such debate competition will help the students build their character."
Students came from different colleges and guardians, teachers, journalists and judges of debate competition were present at the ceremony.
