Prime Bank opens 2nd SME Centre at Narsingdi

Prime Bank Limited opened its 2nd SME Centre at Narsingdi recently.
Deputy Managing Director of the bank Isbahul Bar Chowdhury inaugurated the SME Centre.
Prime Bank SEVP and Head of SME Shawkat Hossain presided over the opening ceremony, said a press release.
SAVP and Head of Bhairab Bazar Branch Md Firdous Alam along with local elite and businessmen were also present on the occasion.
Isbahul Bar Chowdhury, in his speech as chief guest, said Prime Bank would expand service through small and medium enterprises.
"We obtained appropriate initiative to facilitate loan in light engineering, handicraft, CNG station, power loom and garment accessories service sector etc."
He also said that the employment opportunities would be increased if the common people get the finance to set up small and medium enterprises with the support of the banks.
In this way not only unemployment of the country will be decrease but also purchasing power of common people and productivity of the country will be increased, he said.
Shawkat Hossain said SME needs full financial support to provide more jobs expanding the SME segment in our higher populated country.
Narsingdi has rich heritage on handloom. Many other businesses related to hand loom has also risen in the area.
