Prime Bank opens 54th branch at Comilla

Prime Bank Limited (PBL) opened its 54th branch at Comilla Wednesday.
Former chairman of PBL board of directors Imam Anwar Hossain inaugurated the branch as the chief guest, and its Managing Director M Shahjahan Bhuiyan presided over the inauguration ceremony.
The bank's directors Saheda Pervin Trisha and Mohammad Delwar Hossain along with a number of customers, patrons and local elite were also present in the function.
Later, manager of the branch Omar Faruq gave vote of thanks. The function was rounded off with 'milad mahfil' and 'munajat'.
The chief guest, in his inaugural speech, said, PBL is happy to be at Comilla. He wished success of different local businesses and industries, and also asked them to avail the benefits and facilities of the new branch.
The PBL MD said, the bank has come to Comilla, as its focus is now on the SMEs and retail banking. The bank wants to promote the SMEs by nurturing them, providing them with loans and giving them business ideas.
