Prime Bank opens 58th branch at Ring Road in city

Prime Bank Limited (PBL) opened the 58th branch of the bank in the city's Ring Road Monday.
Chairman of the bank Azam J Chowdhury inaugurated the branch as the chief guest.
Managing Director of the bank M Shahjahan Bhuiyan presided over the inaugural programme.
Prime Bank chairman, in his inaugural speech, said the bank opened the branch as part of its extension programme for quality banking services to its clients.
The bank is expanding its network of branches to contribute to the economic development of the country, he added.
M Shahjahan Bhuiyan, in his speech, said PBL believes in the economic emancipation of the people of the country. With this end in view the bank has introduced several customised solutions for their services.
Prime Bank achieved first position in the banking category of ICAB National Award-2006 for best-published accounts and reports, he further said.
Chairman of the executive committee of the bank Md Aminul Haque, DMD Mahbubul Alam, Head of the branch RQM Forkan and Vice President Jahan Ara Begum were present, among others, on the occasion.
