Prime Bank opens branch at Ashulia

Prime Bank Limited (PBL) opened the 53rd branch of the bank at Ashulia Monday. PBL Chairman Azam J Chowdhury inaugurated the branch as the chief guest.
Managing Director of the bank M Shahjahan Bhuiyan presided over the inaugural programme, while Deputy Managing Director Nasiruddin Ahmed, Head of the new branch Toufiqur Rahman and executives of the bank attended the function.
Director of the bank Imam Anwar Hossain, former directors Md Shahadat Hossain and Md Abul Kashem were present on the occasion as the special guests.
Azam J Chowdhury, in his inaugural speech, said healthy growth of commercial banks largely depended on macro-level economic development of the country. The mission of the PBL was to expand its network across the country to allow its clients access to banking facilities.
Apart from commercial banking operation, the bank through its Foundation is simultaneously playing a pivotal role in the society as part of its corporate social responsibilities, he added.
The PBL managing director said the bank opened the branch as part of the programme of extending its quality banking services to every corner of the country, adding that its various customer-friendly deposits and loan schemes have already generated interest among the public.
