Prime Bank pens its 56th branch

Prime Bank Ltd opened its 56th branch at the city's Bijoynagar area Tuesday, said a press release.
Chairman of the board of directors Azam J Chowdhury inaugurated the new branch being present as the chief guest on the occasion.
Managing Director M Shahjahan Bhuiyan presided over the opening ceremony. Directors Quazi Sirajul Islam, Capt. Imam Anwar Hossain, Shaheda Pervin Trisha, and Mohammad Delwar Hossain, among others, were present on the occasion.
Inaugurating the Bijoynagar branch as the chief guest, the chairman said the achievements of Prime Bank are known to all.
The continuous support from all the stakeholders has encouraged the board and the management to have rated 'AA' in last year's rating with three other foreign banks in the country, he added.
He invited the businessmen and households in the Bijoynagar area to avail themselves of different loan and deposit programmes, including retail banking and SME, offered by the bank.
Azam J Chowdhury also furnished a few corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities of the bank like eye operation of 1200 people across the country, heart operation of six people, education support programme offered to 170 poor but meritorious students and some other CSR programmes.
