Prime Bank to give Tk 600m credit to BRAC

Prime Bank Limited sanctioned credit facility of Tk 600 million to BRAC for re-financing in agricultural sector, says a press release.
Prime Bank Managing Director M Ehsanul Haque and BRAC Director (Finance and Accounts) SN Kairy signed an agreement in this connection on behalf of their respective organisations in the city Wednesday.
BRAC's outreach covers all 64 districts of Bangladesh. Besides, BRAC's micro finance programme covers from ultra poor to the people who are struggling to come out of the vulnerable non-poor level.
To make this happen, BRAC has segmented their service level into different broad groups based on the socio economic status of the borrowers.
BRAC General Manager (Finance) Md Abdus Satter Sarkar and Prime Bank Deputy Managing Director Mehmood Husain, Executive Vice President and Head of Gulshan branch of the bank Mozammel Hussain, Senior Vice President and Head of Syndications and Structured Finance Touhidul Alam Khan and other officials of the bank were also present at the signing ceremony.
