Prime Finance appoints Sannamat as MD

Md Akter H Sannamat has been appointed managing director of Prime Finance and Inves-tment Ltd recently.
Prior to this appointment, Sannamat was the deputy managing director of the company. He worked for major areas of operations including investment, treasury, finance, HRM, special asset management and capital market operations.
Sannamat joined Prime Finance in 1997 as assistant vice president. He was promoted to the position of vice president and secretary to the board in 1998.
A chartered accountant, Sannamat started his career in 1993 as group auditor with Excelsior Group. He held key positions in Uttara Finance and Investments Ltd before moving to Prime Finance.
Sannamat did his post-graduation with honours in Accounting at Dhaka University. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) and the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Managers of Bangladesh (ICSMB).
He is also a member of the Listing Committee and the Trading Committee of Chittagong Stock Exchange.
Sannamat is also associated with microcredit operations. He is a director of PFI Securities Ltd, Prime Islami Life Insurance Co Ltd and Prime Insurance Co Ltd.
