Primet honours students for outstanding results

Primet Programme, a medical admission training programme awarded over 1,000 students for their outstanding performance in medical college admission test in 2006-2007 session Tuesday.
Director of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) and former president of American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh (AmCham) Aftab ul Islam handed over certificates, gifts and crests to the meritorious students. More than 1,000 students attended the award-giving ceremony held at the BIAM auditorium in the city.
Md. Shahnewaz Biswas of Mirzapur Cadet College stood first in combined national merit list scoring 184.75 out of 200 marks, Maliha Tasnim of Saroda Shundori Mohila College, Faridpur stood third and Rafid Ahmed of Notre Dame College stood fifth. These three meritorious students who got enrolled in Primet were presented with a computer, a full set of medical curriculum books and a full bone set each from Primet as recognition of their outstanding results.
