Prisoner dies in jail

KHULNA, Aug 17: A convicted prisoner died of heart attack in Bagerhat jail Thursday. The deceased was identified as Dabir Dhoni, 46, son of Hanif Dhoni of village Kuraltala under Chitolmari upazila of Bagerhat district.
Jailer M Badruddoza told FE that Dhoni complained of chest pain inside the prison cell at about 12 pm. He was rushed to sadar hospital where the doctors declared him dead at about 5 pm.
