NLPHAMARI, Nov 10 (UNB) - Prisoners clashed with hajatees (undertrial prisoners) in Nilphamari district jail today over inadequate supply of food leaving at least 20 of them injured. Paritosh, a prisoner, with bad burn injuries was treated in Nilphamari Modern Hospital. Others were treated in the jail hospital. Jail sources said the clash took place when the under-trial prisoners were served stale and inadequate breakfast. The angry hajatees blamed the prisoners for supplying inadequate food and clashed with them.
