Private varsity student slaughtered in city

A private university student was slaughtered by unknown terrorists on the rooftop of his home at Mohammadpur in the city early Thursday. The deceased was identified as Faisal Ahmed (22), son of MA Hannan and student of Civil Engineering Department of the University of Asia Pacific. Medical sources said unknown terrorists slit the throat of Faisal at 766, Baitul Aman Housing Society of Adabor at about 2.00 am. He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where doctors declared him dead at about 2:30 am. Police could not ascertain the motive behind the killing. — UNB
