Pro-BNP lawyers seek neutral role of police

A delegation of pro-BNP lawyers at a meeting with the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner on Saturday demanded that the law enforcers play a neutral role during the elections to two Dhaka city corporations, reports UNB.
The lawyers, led by Supreme Court Bar Asso-ciation general secretary Mahbubuddin Khokan, went to DMP commissioner Asaduzzaman Miah's office at around 12:00 noon.
