Pro-liberation forces urged to work for national interest

RANGPUR, Aug 9 (BSS): Leaders of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) and Jatiya Jubo Jote here today called upon all pro-liberation forces to work unitedly for greater national interests in line with the spirit of the Liberation War for continuous uplift.
The people of the country do not want to see the fundamentalist and anti-liberation forces in state power anytime in future, they said and asked for forging rock-solid unity like that in 1971 to resist the anti-liberation forces, fundamentalism, terrorism, militancy and anarchy.
They were addressing Rangpur divisional conference of the representatives of Jatiya Jubo Jote (JJJ), an associate organisation of JSD, organised by district unit of JJJ at Town Hall auditorium in the city with its district unit President Feroz Ahmed in the chair.
President of the central committee of JJJ Rokanuzzaman Rokan formally inaugurated the representatives' conference through hoisting of the national and party flags at Town Hall premises. Member of the Parliament from Panchaghr-1 constituency and Joint General Secretary of the central committee of JSD Nazmul Haque Pradhan attended the conference as the chief guest.
Organising Secretary of the central committee of JJJ Sabbir Ahmed, its district unit Vice-president Akhteruzzaman Mowla, former Vice-chairman of Rangpur Sadar upazila Masud Nabi Munna and former Jaldhaka upazila Vice-chairman Golam Pasha Elis addressed, among others.
More than 800 representatives of JJJ from all over eight districts in Rangpur division participated in the conference that continued till this afternoon.
