Probe body as two killed in HSTU clash

DINAJPUR, Apr 17: A five-member probe committee has been formed to investigate Thursday's clash that left two BCL activists dead on the Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU) campus. University registrar Nazibur Rahman informed this correspondent a five-member probe committee headed by Prof Dr Anis Khan, dean of the Agriculture Faculty of the university, was formed to investigate the incident. The committee was asked to submit its report within two working days. The other committee members are Prof Dr Balram Roy, dean of the Post Graduate Department, Proctor Prof Dr ATM Shafiqul Islam, Prof Dr Saifur Rahman and chairman of the Statistics Department Prof Dr Shahadat Hossain Khan.
