Probe body formed over Bihari camp violence

A four-member inquiry committee has been formed by the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) to investigate the killing of 10 people during a series of clashes between two groups of stranded Pakistanis at Kurmitola Bihari camp of Kalshi under Pallabi police station in the city.
The committee, headed by DMP Joint Commissioner (Crime and Operation) Mir Rezaul Alam, has been asked to submit its report within the next seven working days.
The other three members of the committee are-- Deputy Commissioner (Public order and management-North) Ekramul Haque, Deputy Commissioner (DB-West) Nazmul Alam and Additional Deputy Commissioner Refayet Rahman, said Deputy Commissioner (Public Relations) Masudur Rahman, according to a news agency.
