Probe committee submits report

The committee formed to investigate the murder of Dhaka University (DU) student Shahriar Alam Shammo submitted its report to Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan at his office on Monday. Committee Convener Dr. Siddiqur Rahman Khan, DU Proctor and Associate Professor Saifuddin Ahmed, and Assistant Proctor and Member Secretary of the committee Sharmin Kabir were present.
According to a DU press release, the report has been prepared following due procedure. The university administration will now review the findings and take necessary action in accordance with its regulations.
