Probe report in Sagar-Runi murder case on May 7

A Dhaka court on Wednesday fixed May 7 for submitting the investigation report in the sensational murder case of journalist couple Sagar Sarowar and Meherun Runi, reports BSS.
This is the 125th time extension for submitting the report as the investigation has been delayed since the case began.
The report was scheduled to be submitted on Wednesday, but the investigation officer failed to do so.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Ariful Islam set a new date for filing of the report, said police Sub-Inspector Rafiqul Islam Russell, officer of the general registration branch of the court for Mirpur Model Police Station.
The journalist couple was brutally murdered at their rented flat in the city's West Rajabazar on February 11, 2012, in the presence of their four-year-old son Mahir Sarwar Megh. Runi's brother Nawser Alam filed the case with Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station.
