The minister made the observations before the media at the National Economic Council (NEC) at Sher-e- Bangla Nagar in the capital to clarify his (minister's) position and spell out misconceptions created following the reports appeared in different print and electronic media with regard to his (minister's) observation at the press conference. The minister said he had not mentioned at the press conference on the day that persons involved in the share market scam are more powerful than the state, as was reported in the media.
