Process rawhide properly for export: Ministry

The commerce ministry issued a directive asking all concerned to preserve and process the rawhide properly so that they can be exported, according to a press release.
The processing of the rawhide should be carried out keeping in mind the environmental compliances, it added.
The directive came at an inter-ministerial meeting organised by the commerce ministry at its conference room at the secretariat on Sunday.
The ministry also sought cooperation from all quarters concerned in this regard.
Senior secretary of the ministry Md Mofizul Islam presided over the meeting attended by representatives of the ministries concerned.
