Production at Jamuna Fertiliser Factory resumes

JAMALPUR, Nov 26 (BSS): Production of urea fertiliser at Jamuna Urea Fertiliser Factory at Tarakandi under Sarishabari Upazila resumed Sunday.
Sources said, the factory was closed for maintenance and overhauling which was completed at a cost of Tk 140 million (14 crore).
The overhauling of Jamuna Urea Factory began on October 21 last. It took 36 days to complete the work. About 28 foreign experts were engaged in the overhauling of the factory.
The factory produces 1,700 tonnes of urea fertiliser per day.
