Production begins in 10 BSCIC estates

Production has started in 10 new factories in 10 industrial estates under Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) recently.
These factories were established in BSCIC industrial estates of Brahmanbaria, Faridpur, Jamalpur, Madaripur, Gopalganj, Munshiganj, Tangail, Narayanganj and Rajbari with an estimated investment of Tk1.8 million, BSCIC office said.
According to BSCIC data, these 10 industrial units has employed 580 people of different skills and producing variety of finished products worth Tk 7.4 billion.
Among them, goods worth Tk 80 million is export-oriented.
