Prof Abu Taher new CU VC

CHATTOGRAM, Mar 19: University Grants Commission (UGC) member Dr Md Abu Taher has been appointed vice chancellor of Chittagong University (CU).
He is now serving as Professor of management department of the university.
The Education Ministry issued a notification in this regard on Tuesday.
With the approval of the President and Chancellor of the university, Dr. Taher has been appointed the vice chancellor of the university.
Prof. Abu Taher was born in 1962 at Babunagar village in Satkania upazila of Chattogram.
