Prof Anwarul Kabir new VC of State University

Prof Dr Md Anwarul Kabir has been appointed vice chancellor of State University of Bangladesh, says a press release.
President Md Abdul Hamid has given him the appointment recently.
Prior to joining the new post, he served at the University of Chittagong as teacher for 22 years.
A former student of Notre Dame College, Anwarul Kabir is a Commonwealth scholar who obtained his PhD degree under a sandwich programme between University of Dundee, UK and University of Chittagong in 2009.
Prof Kabir received BBA and MBA degrees from the University of Chittagong standing first with first classes and was awarded UGC scholarship for his outstanding merit (Faculty first) at undergraduate level.
