Prof Azad Chy takes over as UGC chairman

Newly appointed chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC), former Vice-chancellor of Dhaka University (DU), Prof AK Azad Chowdhury joined his new assignment Sunday, reports UNB.
Outgoing UGC chairman Prof Nazrul Islam, former chairmen and members of the commission, and vice-chancellors of different public and private universities were present on the occasion.
