Prof Dr Saiful Islam joins AIUB as VC

Prof Dr Saiful Islam joined American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) as its new vice-chancellor on Thursday, after being appointed by the President of Bangladesh, says a statement.
Dr Saiful Islam was the vice-chancellor of Dhaka International University (DIU) from February 2022 to May 2024.
He also served as the vice-chancellor of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
Prof Islam obtained his BSc Engg in Electrical Engineering degree from BUET in 1975 and stood first in merit list.
